The Gildan 76000B Premium Cotton Youth T-Shirt is made from 100% ring-spun cotton in a preshrunk jersey knit, giving it a soft, broken-in feel that kids find comfortable from the start. At 180gsm, it’s a solid mid-weight cotton — thick enough to hold up through active days and frequent washing without feeling heavy or stiff. The RS Sport Grey variant uses a 90/10 cotton-polyester blend, so the fibre content shifts slightly on that colour.
A 1.5cm rib collar keeps its shape without curling, and taped neck and shoulder seams sit flat for a cleaner finish that won’t irritate younger wearers. Double-needle stitching on the sleeves and bottom hem reinforces the areas that take the most stretch and pull. The side-seamed construction gives the shirt a more fitted, contoured shape compared to tubular-knit tees that can twist after washing.
